Laser marking is a low-cost, repeatable process commonly used for placing a permanent, non-removable mark on an object for product identification, tracking and serialization purposes. Primary applications include barcodes, alpha-numeric serial numbers, date stamp and logos.  Laser marking represents a broad family of methods to leave the mark on an object that include laser engraving, laser etching, laser ablation and laser annealing.

The LaserTower DESKTOP is an entry level laser marking system designed to be placed on a desk or table for tight working space environments.  The LaserTower Desktop is ideally suited for low-profile flat marking applications as it has no Z-Axis Controller.  The use of a scissor jack helps support nominal changes in height
